Acromegaly: the contribution of prolactin in the management

History: A 62-year-old female presented with a 15-year history of tiredness and headaches. Clinically she had signs of acromegaly. This was confirmed with IGF1 688 ug/l and with a 2 h value (post GTT)of growth hormone 13.9 miu/l. A case of papillary carcinoma associated with Cowdens syndrome

History and examination: A 46-year-old gentleman presented with right sided goitre which had increased in size over one month. He previously had a left thyroidectomy for non-toxic goitre.As a child he had several lipomas removed.
